Delete account

Delete your account.

You can remove your personal data from The World Picks at any time. The deletion below matches what the iOS app does internally.

From the app (fastest)

  1. Open The World Picks.
  2. Tap your profile, then Settings.
  3. Tap Delete my account and confirm.

The app calls DELETE /v1/me on the API. The action is final and immediate.

By email

If you can't access the app, email privacy@theworldpicks.com. We process deletion requests within 30 days.

What gets removed

  • Display name, country, gender, birth date.
  • All authentication tokens.
  • All device metadata.

What stays

  • Your past votes remain — anonymously.
  • Snapshot demographics on each vote stay so global statistics remain reproducible.
  • Nothing in the surviving data can be linked back to you.
