Privacy policy

This page describes the current behaviour of The World Picks. Final policy language will be reviewed by counsel before public launch.

What we collect

Country — to break down results by country.
Gender — to break down results by gender.
Birth date — to assign you to an age group and enforce minimum age.
Display name — optional, profile only.
Device metadata (platform, locale, app version) — diagnostics and future push.

What we do not collect

Name, email, phone number, address book, precise location, microphone, photos or advertising identifiers.

How we use it

To compute aggregate vote statistics. Individual demographic data is never shown to other users. Cohorts below ten people are not exposed.

Deletion

You can delete your account in-app or from our delete-account page. Your votes are kept with anonymous demographic snapshots so historical statistics remain accurate. All identifying data is removed.
